Dear reader

Pressure appears to be mounting on politicians to deliver much-needed support to the travel industry which has suffered during the pandemic probably more than any other sector.

A demonstration took place at Stormont on Wednesday, one of several across the UK, with those present including hoteliers, tour operators, pilots, cabin crew and ferries.

Damien Murphy, chairman of the Association of Northern Ireland Travel Agents, asked that double vaccinated people be treated differently to people who are not vaccinated.
