It is a greyish and damp Sunday morning in Belfast after a charming, often sunny Saturday.

I am saddened by news of a body being found in the hunt in Greece for Dr Michael Mosley - a health expert who I have found so easy to read and to watch on TV.

Here in Northern Ireland, the staff at Linfield Football Club have organised a JustGiving page to help raise money for the family of the club physiotherapist Paul Butler who died suddenly on Thursday.

The new president of the Methodist church in Ireland says that religion is of no relevance to most people in their lives. This former doctor, however, was an atheist turned Christian, and he says the Free Church of Scotland helped make him so.

Talking about God, last week I explained why I disliked Donald Trump. This week he helped show why. He turned a question about God into one about himself

I have been to a number of funerals conducted by thoughtful humanist celebrants. Lisa Duffy, interviewed here, is such a celebrant for weddings.

In sport, Kyle White has been in the Isle of Man for us over the last fortnight. Here is his report on how Davey Todd's victory in the TT finale.

In football, the ex-Coleraine star Joe McCready has no doubts Dean Shiels will be Showgrounds hit as coach

And Steven Davis wants Jonny Evans to keep on playing as long as possible.

Finally, in politics counting is under way in the Republic. Sinn Fein has not yet shown a sign of surging

Here is the full list of candidates for Westminster  in next month's general election.

Enjoy your reading and your Sunday,

Ben

This article comes with a trigger warning. If you're a rampant feminist, easily offended or a member of the PC brigade, cease and desist from reading, for this is a tale of wanton women with one mission, to find a man!
