In the news today:

The Chief Executive of the Belfast Chamber has described the news that Debenhams is to close all its stores in Northern Ireland and the rest of the United Kingdom as a "hammer blow" for the economy.
"This is absolutely devastating news for everyone working in Debenhams and the Arcadia Group," said Mr. Hamilton.

The judge who headed up a review of hate crime legislation for Northern Ireland would like to see social media companies require full identity checks on anyone using their platforms.
He said there is an urgent need for greater regulation of social media companies, including a requirement for a more robust registration system for users.

And the family of Pat Finucane are to seek the support of President-Elect Joe Biden for their ongoing campaign for a public inquiry into his murder.
Northern Ireland Secretary Brandon Lewis said he was not taking a public inquiry off the table but said further examinations of the case by police and a police watchdog should conclude first.
