Good Morning

In print and online today Sam McBride talks to an experienced freight industry figure who has said that he is "panicking" over the looming Irish Sea border. Sam reveals the details from a leaked email sent by a senior HMRC official which sets out the dizzying complexity of how trade will operate across the Irish Sea from January 1.

Sams also writes about how DUP and Sinn Féin appear to have agreed a deal which may keep pubs shut, but open cafes, hairdressers, tattooists, body piercing and other services.

On Saturday Ben Lowry wrote 'If this is the end of the Trump presidency, then good riddance'
Today a reader writes in our opinion section 'Best wishes to President Donald Trump, who made America great again'.

Due to coronavirus restrictions Remembrance Sunday was very different for many. See pictures from some of the social distanced events here.

Have a good day

I enjoy reading Ben Lowry's articles each week and I would agree with a lot of his comments but I found myself totally opposed to his view on Saturday's article about Donald Trump.
