This afternoon we lead lead with the sad news that an elderly man has died after a three vehicle collision this morning. Police have revealed that he was 74-year-old Tom Richardson - and he died following a road traffic collision at the Upper Road area of Carrickfergus. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

In other news:

* Unite the union has condemned the NI Protocol related attack on a Translink bus and one of its members in Newtownabbey this afternoon outside City Hall in Belfast.

* There is sobering news today the Department of Health reveals there have been 11 deaths in the last 24 hours.
