* There are 40 fewer people with Covid-19 in hospitals across Northern Ireland today than there were this time yesterday.

* Extending the list of symptoms that can be used to allow a Covid-19 test could help to detect around a third more cases, a study has found.

* The world's first study involving purposely exposing people to Covid has been approved to take place in the UK.

* A detailed breakdown of the number of coronavirus vaccinations administerd in Northern Ireland has been issued by the Department of Health at Stormont.

* Upper Bann DUP MP Carla Lockhart has reiterated her call for the re-opening of schools on March 8.
