It is cloudy now on the last day of Balmoral but uninterrupted sunshine is due from midday, helping perhaps make it one of the biggest shows.

This photo gallery from earlier in Balmoral got a lot of readers. The old King's Hall site was much loved but the roomier Maze site seems to be working well and popular too. The weekend print News Letter today includes a Farming Life Balmoral Special of 96 pages, total paper 160 pages.

This week Michelle O'Neill faced a fierce grilling at the covid inquiry, including about why she wiped messages. In my column I say that Sinn Fein was so gently treated over the Bobby Storey terrorist funeral outrage that it is no surprise they waited four years to apologise.

I was on broadcasts about that. I was also on about Wallace Thompson again getting huge publicity for saying that an all Ireland was inevitable. Here he responds to my column last week challenging him.

In sport, Rory McIlroy's second round at the US PGA yesterday was disappointing compared to his first. He features in the local names in the Sunday Times Rich list with a hefty £200 million plus to his name.

Enjoy your Saturday and your reading and Balmoral if you are there - I will send a message again tomorrow.

Ben
