It was damp in London yesterday, gloriously sunny in Northern Ireland for much of the day.

Folk around the Banbridge area have been regularly seeing a crow which is in fact white. This report has a video of it.

The Law Society of NI has said that any hate legislation Naomi Long introduces here must balance any potential offending with the right to free speech and privacy

On legacy matters the DUP has welcomed the decision not to prosecute soldiers for perjury over Bloody Sunday while the former detective William Matchett has written about how the Coagh ambush on an IRA gang made people safer and brought peace closer.

In politics, Jamie Bryson says the DUP will be claiming to be hardline on the Irish Sea border by the summer.

And Colonel Tim Collins explains why he thinks he is the best person to be the MP for North Down.

Meanwhile, with Rishi Sunak saying that welfare costs in the UK are soaring and need to be brought under control, I write about how Stormont shows no sign of looking at such problems

In biking, Jonathan Rea believes his Assen record will give him his best chance so far of showing his potential at this weekend's World Superbike Championship

Enjoy your Saturday reading, I will mail again tomorrow.
