Subscribe              May 13, 2021           Dear reader It had been suggested that Northern Ireland might move to lift its restrictions on indoor hospitality earlier than expected to bring us into line with England and Scotland.  However, during what has been described as a "marathon" four-hour meeting of the Stormont Executive on Thursday, it is believed it was decided that the date for indoor reopening will remain May 24.  The Executive is expected to confirm the easing of some of the restrictions around sport though, with up to 500 spectators allowed to watch outdoor sport from May 24 and 1,000 people are due to be allowed to attend football's Irish Cup final on May 21.  It is also believed that from May 24 the stay at home message will be removed and libraries and museums can open. On international travel, it has been mooted that Northern Ireland will adopt a travel list "similar" to England.
