Department of Health figures now state the total at 557. Every death is a tragedy and our thoughts are with the family and friends of those who have died. 76 people have tested positive for the virus over the weekend. The latest measure to be introduced started today with the compulsory wearing of face-coverings in enclosed areas. The new ruling has been welcomed by some shoppers and shop workers today but there is still some confusion over who will enforce the rules.  The Department of Health has said the responsibility for imposing a fixed penalty notice for non-compliance will rest with the PSNI, but the PSNI has said the primary responsibility will lie with shop owners. It said it would "only use enforcement as a last resort, when all other approaches have been unsuccessful".   Breaches of the requirement could attract a fixed penalty notice of £60 with the fines increasing if there are further offences. Today we have also been reporting the unsurprising news for many that July was the least sunny month in 34 years.
