Subscribe              Apr 29, 2021           Dear reader Edwin Poots, the Stormont Agriculture Minister, is currently the bookmakers' favourite to become the next leader of the DUP.  A day after Arlene Foster signalled her intention to stand down as party leader at the end of May, Mr Poots seems to be the most fancied successor with odds of 8/11. Sir Jeffrey Donaldson is second favourite at 5/4 with Gavin Robinson, the East Belfast MP, at 11/1.
