I write this from London at the end of a busy week round the UK.
It is sunny and warm here, as it was sunny when I flew to Edinburgh at 7am on Monday morning.
Someone told me it was silly to bring a heavy winter coat so I brought a lighter anorak to put over my suit jacket but that very evening, standing in long queue to see the Queen lying in rest, there was as I had feared Scottish chill and I wish I had stuck with my earlier plan!
Before I talk about that, let me remind you that you are a reader of the world's oldest English language daily newspaper.
We would be going bigger on that anniversary if not for our massive coverage of the death of the Queen and the accession of King Charles. The News Letter has now reported on 11 monarchs and 56 prime ministers, including the late Queen's meeting with Liz Truss and invitation to her to form a government.
The crowds in Edinburgh were huge, and in Northern Ireland too. Watch the long video clip in this of the King and Queen Consort patiently shaking hands one by one with the delighted crowd in Hillsborough
For me the most significant moment was the royal drive past Belfast City Hall. I have seen many events at that location over the decades, but none quite like that. Here are my thoughts on that, and the last week:
As well as our seven-day-a-week web coverage, we have been putting out big print editions, with supplements, on the Queen's death, the period of mourning, the king's accession (our paper after the NI visit was almost 100 pages) and, on Monday coming, the funeral, including my reportage from here in London.
As ever there is so much more, with us continuing to report on cost of living and other major stories too.
