There is so much news on the horrifying events in Ukraine, echoing around the world, that there continue to be many local angles on the disaster.

In other news, it was the 50th anniversary of the terrible Abercorn restaurant bombing in central Belfast. George Jones recalls being there that day:

Today is the Alliance Party conference. Naomi Long talked to our political editor Henry McDonald, and she condemned a Sinn Fein/GAA club celebration of three IRA terrorists:

Our reporter Adam Kula's important challenge to a legal ruling to keep secret the identity of a Sinn Fein member who is challenging Edwin Poots in court over the NI Protocol failed. In this editorial we explain why the court was wrong:
Opponents of the integrated education bill are becoming increasingly vocal. This open letter is on behalf of the Council for Catholic Maintained Schools; the Controlled Schools' Support Council; Governing Bodies Association NI; Catholic Schools' Trustee Service; Transferor Representatives' Council:

In biking, Michael Dunlop will ride a Ducati for the first time at the Isle of Man TT after linking up with Paul Bird Motorsport in 2022.
