* Sir Jeffrey Donaldson has said he hopes to see Edwin Poots' name on the ballot paper in Lagan Valley as the DUP will be fielding three candidates in the Assembly election.

* SDLP leader Colum Eastwood says that a u-turn has been carried out and the DUP has now been invited to the Stormont leaders meeting today.

* Health Minister Robin Swann was seeking legal advice today on the legislation underpinning coronavirus regulations, the News Letter understands.

* Loyalist activist Jamie Bryson has rejected any suggestion he had DUP support in pursuing a legal case that ultimately led to an order to halt protocol checks at NI ports.
